The title of Lynn Austin's book Eve's Daughter's reminds me of where I come from, where WE come from. And staring into this tree-like bowl of forbiddance is yet another reminder of the temptations Eve faced. Why is it so difficult for me to walk away from this bowl and pick a better snack from the fruit bowl? Will I ever be able to stand up against the sin of indulgence? One day at a time.
