Skippin' Skylar

Skylar has been asking me forever to get her a jump rope, since her old one is broken. They apparently use jump ropes quite a bit in kindergarten. So today, I had a surprise for her! And she put it right to use, showing me all the tricks she has learned in school.

Jump roping sideways.

Backwards.

One foot.

Two feet.

Jumping high.

And crisscross. Bless her heart! She tried for ten minutes to get this one. With a little frustration, many deleted photos (and a few tears), she mastered it!  Now she can show all her friends the crisscross jump in gym class tomorrow!
