OPERATION SKYLAR

Another exciting adventure in the Greenberg Family, this time our little Skylar needed surgery to repair three hernias. We went to the hospital three days before the surgery for a "friendly tour". Boy, do they know what they're doing there! Skylar was SO excited to soon be going back for the real deal, to bring her favorite stuffed animal to go with her into surgery, and to ride in her bed-on-wheels down the hall. Nurse Christian showed her around all three rooms that she would be in, demonstrated the vitals machine, and took her to see the teddy bear patient garbed in hospital gown and hair net. Following our friendly visit, we went to pick out new pajamas to wear to the hospital. All went well! We received an abundance of support, prayer and well wishing from many friends and family members. Thank you all for your calls, cards, emails, balloons, dinners, visits, stuffed animals, and prayers.

She's having too much fun.

The waiting!

Meet Bubble. My crazy friend Marlene surprised us at the hospital with a gift from our little friend Isa.

More waiting.

Bibble and Bubble, and a sleepy Skylar, after taking her "cocktail"

The highlight of the morning. Too bad she didn't remember, and good thing I took a picture for her.

Recovering with a smile!!

"This is so much fun" says Skylar.

Special delivery from aunts and uncles.
