Through the Roof

Literally. Doug was putting away the LAST of the Christmas decorations in the attic when he stepped off the wooden platform onto the insulation... and into the children's bathroom below. Ouch! Luckily, he didn't fall completely through the 2x3' opening, but was still banged up and shocked from the sudden plunge. Stifling a laugh, I focused on giving solace, showing sincere concern for the huge knot developing on his shin. I kept a straight face until I sheepishly asked if I could take photographs! He was not amused! Then Skylar adds, "Daddy, you're not supposed to step on the pink stuff." I think I just secured the unwanted task of putting away decorations myself next time.
