The Birthday Boy!!

Our Brady Boy is FIVE YEARS OLD! With every summer comes another birthday that he eagerly anticipates for nearly 6 months, an age that can still be measured on one hand. And each summer, a little piece of me unwillingly gives way to the life that must move from the present to the past. Some days disappear without their memories etched far enough within me to last me a lifetime. If time could only stand still.
Our five year old woke up on his birthday to Mom's famous number pancakes, all freehand, I'll have you know. We then headed to the pool for his requested "boys only" party. His sister wasn't even allowed to come. Part of me wonders how well he intentionally planned that! :) Brady, you are a joy! Your laughter and love has made our world a better place. I love you!
