ARA-Moe's Better Half Marathon
Sundays are family day for us and last Sunday was no different. We packed the kids in the car with blankets, snacks, signs and good spirits and headed to San Marcus, TX for Daddy's 7 a.m. start time for the half marathon. Temperatures were 37º with a windshield factor of 27º. Brr! What a blast Kristen and I had traveling the beautiful country back roads looking for places to watch the guys run by. It was pretty cold out, so the kids jumped out of the warm cars just in time to see the dads. Run, Daddy, Run!
Leaving before sunrise

Doug, Tripp, Josh and Jason

The kids made signs for their dads at Kristen's Pre-race Pasta Party!

Here they come at mile marker 7

Brady was crying because he wanted his sign that was in the car, but earlier wanted to leave it.

Mr. Jason giving Carolyn a little pat.

Mile marker 10. Look at those hills.

High fives

Woo hoo!

Brady still crying

The Hall family

Great job, guys!

Wow! I'm so impressed! This looks fun to watch, but the running part... sheesh! :)
Good going Doug! All of these runners around here are very inspiring.
Way to go Doug! Looks like you had a strong finish and a time to be proud of! Ready for another 26.2 yet?
